Basketball Championship Day!!

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of taking the action shots for a local school. What made it even better was that it was championship day, back to back to back to back Championship games!! Loooooong but fun day for my crew and I. Thanks to all the photographers who came out. For all the parents ordering, remember that proceeds from the pictures sold goes back to the school.

Asha gets Published!! Behind the scenes…

So last week our local paper, the Burlington County Times, made their way to my studio for an interview. Asha Campbell, one of my favorite makeup artists, was being interviewed for an article for the paper that ran this week. Congrats to Asha and thanks for thinking of my studio for your canvas. Also checkout my little sis who got her makeup done for the article and made her appearance in the paper as well !!

So my homie from high school contacted me asking for a photo shoot. He was looking for an outdoor shoot and his inspiration was a recent Ralph Lauren catalog. I instantly thought that the perfect location would be Soho, NY. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t cooperating on the day of the shoot. So we shot at the studio instead. I actually really loved the studio setting. It fit perfectly with his look.

Ohio Team and Individual Picture Day – With a twist

These were taken while on one of my monthly working trips to Ohio. Tired of those dry team and individual shots i always got as a kid, and still see as an adult, I decided to put the G. Haygood twist to these basketball players from the Erie Shore Basketball League. My thought was to bring a Sports Illustrated feel to kid’s sports. Why should the Pros have all the fun?! Another working Ohio trip put me in the hands of this Bride and Groom. Meet Amanda and Chris. This couple had me in tears from laughing all day. There were a few hours in between the ceremony and reception, which allowed us to go to several locations to shoot. Thanks to great weather paired with Ohio’s wonderful scenery, I was able to get amazing shots. The Bride and Groom’s color choice for the bridal Party really stood out too. All in all it was day full of fun and laughter.

Wonder why I didn’t say work too? Well then you must not LOVE your job!

Jordan Turns 5

Jordan turns 5!!!!!! Man where has the time gone?! My sons are all growing so fast. We did something different this year. Since his birthday is only a week away from Halloween we decided to have a costume party at Stellwag’s Hidden Acre Farm. Figured the kids would have fun going on a hayride,picking pumpkins, and touring the barnyard. They had a full grown donkey there. Which shocked the kids, he definitely was NOT the size of Donkey on Shrek! I know everyone had a blast that day but poor Yoda. Who is my baby son Aiden who was getting over a stomach bug that seemed to last forever. But he was a trooper.

Karl J Fashion/Hair Show @ the Liacoras Center, Philadelphia

This is the Karl J Fashion Show that took place at Temple University’s Liacora Center. I was invited to be a guest photographer for the event, and it just so happened my baby sister was in it for our local salon, Salon Duo. This was definitely an exciting show.

Adrienne – Flush Mount Album

So an old friend of mine came to me in need of something for an anniversary gift for her husband who happened to be overseas in the Military. We got together with one of my favorite makeup artists – Ericka Areh over at A Nu Era of Beauty.com She did a great job with this being her first time in front of the camera!! To make this stand out even more, Adrienne wanted to get a flush mount book made so he can take it with him wherever he went.

In early June I had the pleasure of shooting one of my oldest friends from Middle School. Toshiana and I grew up together and I had a great time capturing her special day. Even the most of the day it poured, the sun peeked out long enough to take some pics outside I would like to thank my wife (Maid of Honor) for helping organize and Gary S. for second shooting.
