I hooked up on and all day shoot with my homie Pedro couple months ago. He has an Album dropping soon and he needed some new promo pics to lace the album, website, etc. We did a full day shoot including studio flicks and then went up to his hometown – Trenton, NJ to shoot around his neighborhood. Overall the shoot went smooth, even with Pedro comin down with some type of flu. We started out with some plain backgrounds just to have some pics that can drop into flyers, mixtapes, webdesign (By the way, I saw a sneek peek of his website and its bananas!) Here are some of the location shots:

I get alot of questions about my bags and what I have in them, so here they go. My Big bag is the Lowepro Rolling Compu Trekker Plus AW.

Hands down the best bag I ever had. Its Huge without being a suitcase. I’m able to fit all my gear including both laptops inside. Yea that makes the bag a backbreaker when strapped to my shoulders but it also has an extendable arm that makes it rollable. Yesssssss. Another Plus…It fits on a plane. Barely, but it fits.

The front pouch has room for both my 12″ iMac and 15″ Acer laptops with room for both power adapters, card readers, small hard drives, etc. I don’t roll that stacked but if I wanted to its good to know that i could.

Inside there’s room for everything:

My Nikon D3,

The rest of the smaller pockets are filled with backup batteries, AA for the flashes, the shoe mounts for the flashes, memory cards, blank CD and DVD’s, Lens cloths, business cards, everything. Overall its a great bag. I originally bought the Kata BP 502 which seemed to be the only bag that a D3 and 70-200mm could fit in. But it was just GINORMOUS! I couldnt see it for everyday use. So I returned that and came home with the Lowepro and gould be happier.

Couple months passed and I missed having a regular walkaround bag. I wanted a sling pack, something for 1 or two lensed with the big body. Lowepro recently came out with the Slingshot Series of backpacks that are a perfect fit for me. The 300 and 350 are the only ones that the D3 fit in with the 70-200mm attached. The 350 adds a laptop slot.

This is my Lowepro SlingShot 300 AW

I can roll with 3 lenses and 2 flashes stacked on the right.

Theres an additional pouch big enough for a couple of small lenses, rocket blower, card reader, harddrive etc.

Perfect walkaround bag.

Ok, I’m getting married at the end of June. YAY!!! What? Nobody’s excited?? WTF!!?? I have to get tuxedos, rings, flowers, a DJ, a photographer, a videographer, a pastor, and custom make and send out all the invites and response cards.

What happened to YAY!!

Its coming back.
In July.

Anyways, me and the fellas went on our venture to locate some tuxes for the wedding. David’s bridal has some sort of hook up with Men’s Wearhouse so we stropped there first.

We get little to no help inside. Once we finally flip through the catalogs ourself we were greeted and found that the only combination that was available in our “watermelon” color was this:

Then we saw the suit we wanted which was Ralph Lauren.

Together looked like….Crap

Why would they put a striped tie with a cris-cross vest. Men’s Wearhouse didn’t have any other combinations and they didn’t have anything else worth snapping a picture of.

So we left. What the heck were they thinkin?

We went next door to Cheeseburger Cheeseburger.

The food there was GREAT. You only walk in there for one reason…Cheeseburgers. The best. Not the greasy fake lettuce and tomato on a sesame seed bun kinda cheeseburger. Im talking size ranging from “The Classic” 5oz burger to “The Famous Pounder” 20oz burger. Its so big if you can finish it they take your picture and display it on the front bulletin board.

I like being an anonymous burger eater. So I stayed in between with “The Semi-Serious” 7oz burger.

We had some time to kill so Keyon and Drew got it in at tic-tac-toe.

Drew felt good being able to beat my 7 year old.

Ski wasn’t that lucky. Keyon is good at Rock Paper Scissors

Did you see that?

Our food took a while to cook so we ordered some home-made fries for an appetizer.

They have choose your own flavor- lemonade, shakes , and iced teas. Matter of fact, you can choose your own – everything. Make your own custom cheeseburger, custom salads, chicken sandwiches, and even grilled cheese.
This is Ski’s Blackberry Lemonade.

Finally our burgers arrived. but Ski’s was missing. They messed up his order and gave it to him for free because of the inconvenience. Looks like it was worth the wait.

After stuffing ourselves, we went to Formal Expressions. Anyone that went to Willingboro High knows about them and their annual fashion shows in the cafeteria. We get there and of course Ski stays in the car phone bonin’

“Just gimme the keys, I will lock the doors when I get out”
